Day 1: Kicking Off the 7th UNESCO MOST Winter School

The day ended with a vibrant music performance and a welcome dinner, setting the stage for a week of deep discussions, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Day 2: Culture, Memory & Regional Dialogues
What role does cultural heritage play in shaping our shared future? Today, we explored the evolving nature of heritage across borders, the politics of memory and the shifting dynamics of governance in Central and Southeastern Europe.
From historical legacies to contemporary policy challenges, our panels sparked meaningful conversations on identity, EU integration, and transnational collaboration. We ended the day with an art and creativity panel, followed by a gastronomic journey featuring organic wines from UNGER and regional delicacies!
Day 3: AI, Technology & the Future of Our Planet
Artificial intelligence and robotics are reshaping our world, but what are the ethical, political, and social consequences? Today’s discussions tackled the power and risks of AI, exploring how these technologies influence governance, labor, and social justice.
We also turned to the environment, with environmental humanities and ecological design workshops that reimagined how we interact with our planet. The day concluded with an art exhibition—a powerful reminder of how technology, culture, and sustainability intersect.
Day 4: explored evolving legal frameworks, globalization, and human rights, followed by a Kőszeg walking tour and a public lecture on East-Central Europe.
Day 5: focused on reflection, with participants sharing insights and research. The Winter School closed with a Certificate Award Ceremony, celebrating achievements and new collaborations.
